January 6th, 2019, marked the 10th anniversary of Wangdenling, Slovakia. So the following Friday, on January 11th, nine of us practitioners braved the cold winter and met in the Wangdenling gönpa to celebrate this important day. We celebrated by doing a 24 hour practice of Ozer Chenma dedicated to the prosperity of Wangdenling, Dzamling Gar and the Dzogchen Community overall. A few more practitioners arrived on Saturday and joined us in practice.
The scenery in Wangdenling was fairy-tale like with snow reaching up to the knees and in the snowdrifts up to the waist. This frozen beauty kept us focused on practice, since it was not possible to wander around. We concluded the practice on Sunday morning and following that we held a short discussion and exchange of ideas on the future projects of Wangdenling.
Before going our separate ways to our homes, we did a Ganapuja with the wish to meet in Wangdenling again and again. May we all be there for the 20th anniversary!
