From August 19th to 21st, 2017, an intensive open Yantra Yoga course was held at Tashigar Sur. This time it was an ambitious project: The Fifth Series of Yantra Yoga open to both beginners, as well as experienced Yantra Yoga practitioners. The main challenge was to integrate the different levels of the participants. The course was announced with a suggestive photo, the central phase of the spider, just to transmit the idea of getting ready to do a physically demanding weekend.
The two instructors, Carolina Mingolla and Fernanda Andrada, got to dance between the practitioners in order to attend to personal demands, being sure the newcomers get the essence of each movement and perfecting the performance of the old practitioners.
To give interesting information to both groups of people, they divided the participants during the preliminaries and pranayama, and joined them to teach the Yantras.
During this period the fruit trees were full of flowers, so the pranayama practices in the open air was the cherry of the cake in many sessions.
The team work at Tashigar Sur was impeccable, the Gekö, Secretary and Gakyil, worked together to guarantee a beautiful Tashigar Sur experience to everybody.
Even though this kind of course was the first time experienced for everybody, the joy and satisfaction of participants was the concrete message that it is possible to give an intense jump into Yantra Yoga discipline, caring for the people and integrating different levels.
We thank all participants, instructors, collaborators and especially our beloved Master to bring to our lives the possibility to practice and share Yantra Yoga.
