Greetings from the International Gakyil Team (IG)!
The IG would like to share with you the latest information about the current International Dzogchen Community (IDC) membership trend.
As of the end of April 2023:
- 3,679 people have already updated their 2023 memberships. Compared to people who paid for their memberships by April 2022, there are about 300 more paying members;
- the number of 2022 members increased by 4,526 thanks to approximately 160 people who paid their 2022 memberships during the first four months of 2023.
Membership is one of the most important ways we demonstrate our commitment to the Teachings and to supporting the International Dzogchen Community, its Gars and Lings, and Sangha.
As we know that many of you are experiencing different situations, some simpler, some more difficult, the IG would like to express its deep gratitude for your commitment toward the IDC shown by the continued renewing of your memberships.
To those who have not yet renewed their 2023 memberships, we would like to remind you that renewing it is easy.
Visit dzogchen.net to view and choose the payment methods for your local Gar or Ling. Many of them offer the opportunity to renew membership directly online through your profile at https://dzogchen.net/profile/membership/.
Alternatively, you can contact your local Dzogchen Community directly, which is the Gar or Ling closest to your geographical area of residence. At the same time, the IG would like to remind you that dzogchen.net does not support the simultaneous registration of an IDC member at two different Gars/Lings. If you wish to support another Gar or Ling in addition to the one your membership is affiliated with, you can do so through donations.
We look forward to the renewal of your membership in 2023, and we also remind you that you can retroactively make a payment for any previous membership years you may have missed – specifically 2020, 2021, and 2022 – as needed!
